Managing Director

Tope Toogun is a development advisor and the CEO of Cognity Advisory. He is an adviser to governments at regional and national levels in Africa; on developing and implementing strategies for building market relevant skills in the economy, creating employment and promoting economic growth. He also advises corporations on aligning their business objectives to the SDGs and development agencies on programming focus to foster economic growth, improve educational outcomes and expand employment creation in Africa.

Olusiji Aina
Technical Director

Olusiji is the Technical Director and Enterprise Development Expert for Cognity Advisory Group. His expertise cuts across Africa. Prior to joining Cognity Advisory, Olusiji was the Technical Lead, Income Generation and Livelihood responsible for Mercy Corps Humanitarian and Economic Development under United States Aid for International Development (USAID) Feed the Future Nigeria Livelihoods Project in Nigeria

Mofope is an experienced Management Consultant and Project Director at Cognity Advisory. She oversees the delivery of education to employment programmes. For the past 18 years, she has worked as a management consultant across industries focusing on corporate development, strategy, business analysis and performance management.

Eniola Mafe
Associate Director

Eniola is an experienced Business Development Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the development sector. Skilled in Corporate Social Responsibility, Gender Mainstreaming, International Development, Training Delivery, and NGO management, she is also an Economic and Private Sector-Led Development Professional. Previously, Eniola worked as the Partnerships & Business Development Manager for Foundation for Partnership Initiative in the Niger Delta and Program Manager for Niger Delta Partnership Initiative Foundation.

Wofai is the Project Manager at Cognity Advisory. Part of her portfolio is to develop implementation strategies, manage and ensure seamless operations in delivering excellent quality projects for government and private sector clients in Africa; with emphasis on Job creation, entrepreneurship, education to employment, monitoring & evaluation and financial inclusion.

Funmi Tella is a TVET Specialist with expertise in quality assurance, team and individual career development, designing and implementing regulatory body requirements. She has project managed UK government initiatives to promote and deliver employability skills and enable those not in employment to gain employment.

Stephen Kyalibulha

Stephen Kyalibulha is ILO-SIYB Master Trainer and Enterprise Development expert with CognityAdvisory. He is an accredited Licenced Master Trainer on specific UN products for entrepreneurship and basic business management ( ILO-Start and Improve Your business(SIYB), Business Skills Development (PSDP) UNCTADEntrepreneurship Training Workshop(ETW).

Dr. Sharon Munyaka

Dr Sharon Munyaka is an Organisational Psychologist and she has worked as a facilitator on the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme and for the Fort Hare Institute of Government, both in South Africa. Sharon expertise is on on improving individual and team performance, as well as work place improvement. excellence.

Ibiyemi Ifaturoti

Ibiyemi A. Ifaturoti is a Business Development Consultant, specializing in HR Management / Organization Design for MSMEs and Project Management. Previously, she has worked as PA to the CEO at MTN Nigeria, and as Regional Technical Manager (Ibadan Region) of MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd.

Olusegun Israel-Adegboye is an Associate at Cognitiy Advisory. He is driven, goal orientated and does not shy away from taking on challenging projects. Previously, he was Country Manager for Forever Living Products (FLP), the leading network marketing company in Nigeria.

Prof Ken Ife is currently the Lead Consultant on Private Sector Development to the ECOWAS Commission, Co-Chair of EU - AFRICA Business Task Force Summit Group (Trade Working Group) Brussels, Senior Policy Adviser to the President: Africa Business Round Table/ NEPAD Business Group, Team Task Leading Consultant for World Bank.

Cecilia Akintomide

Cecilia Akintomide recently retired as Vice President and Secretary General of the African Development Bank Group. Her previous role was as Manager (Legal), Public and Private Sector Financing and Policy at the bank. She currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at FBN Holdings Plc & eTranzact International Plc.

Marito Garcia, PhD

Marito Garcia currently serves as Adjunct Faculty and Fellow at Darden School of Business, University of Virginia and has experience working in 55 countries during his 18 years at the World Bank. While at the World Bank, Marito served as a senior staff in numerous capacities as Sector and Program Manager roles with work focusing on education, youth and labor market, new economy skills, technical-vocational skill development, and early childhood development in Latin America and SubSaharan African Countries.

Meshach Aziakpono (PhD) is a Professor of Development Finance at the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB).Prof. Aziakpono's expertise is in Economic & Financial Integration, Financial Sector Development in Africa, Programme Impact Evaluation, Innovative SMME Financing, Public-Public Partnership, Managing Development Funds, Economic & Financial Modelling and Applied Econometrics.

Vanetha (Vaani) Moodley

Vanetha has 30 years of local and International experience in Enterprise Development. She is an Internationally accredited trainer with the GTZ CEE model who has designed training models, manuals, learner workbooks and interventions for SMEs on various principles.
